Francois Lamoureux
Présentation
Dr F. Lamoureux obtained his PhD degree in 2008 from Nantes Medical School studying primary bone tumors biology and developing novel therapeutic approaches using gene transfer in osteosarcoma. He then worked 3 years (2009 to 2011) at the Vancouver Prostate Centre (Vancouver, Canada) studying the cellular stress and targeting heat shock proteins in castrate resistant prostate cancer and bone metastasis. Dr F. Lamoureux came back to France in 2011 in the INSERM unit UMR957 to study the cell stress in Osteosarcoma development and obtained a research associate position (CRCN INSERM) in the unit UMR957 . Dr Lamoureux developed with Dr. Ory a thematic of epigenetic, genetic and cellular stress in primary bone tumors and he was co-head of the “Epistress” team of the INSERM UMR1238 (2017-2021). Since January 2022, Dr Lamoureux is co-head of the team 9 “CHILD” (Chromatin and transcriptional deregulation In pediatric bone sarcoma) in the CRCI2NA INSERM UMR-1307 / CNRS 6075
